Contrary to popular belief people do care and ordinary people at that.  What I found interesting was your use of &#039;she&#039; rather than a generic term.  Was you conscious of the fact that statistics show that there is a growing awareness among consumers, particularly women, that buying power can achieve economic independence amongst women artisans and alleviate poverty at grass roots level in developing nations?  I don&#039;t know what that says about men? (I know plenty who do care) Maybe it&#039;s just down to good old fashioned shopping habits?  Anyway a great research project for someone?</description>
